Browsing:
The Artists' ShowCase - Online Search function makes it easy for
you to locate prints by artist, style, film type (black &
white, color or other), print medium, price range - or any
combination of these. Simply make your selections from each
of the option menus and click on the Search button.
If there's an option in which you don't have a preference,
you can select 'any' or pass over it completely. You may also
reset your search any time, as well as choose to View All
Images.
The Search by Description function allows you to search using
keywords that may appear in the title of an artwork or the
description sections. Even though the descriptions of the
photographs are brief, this is still an effective way to find
works photographed in a specific city or country, or by year.
For ease of use, this function is not case sensitive and will
read partial words.
Once the search is complete, the images matching your criteria
are displayed on the screen as thumbnails, with up to 15 images
per page. The number of pages and images will appear in the
top right corner above the thumbnails. The images are cropped
to fit the format of the page. To see a full view and details
about a specific print click on the thumbnail. The detail
page that follows will have a larger view along with the name
of the artist, title and description of the work, the print
medium and the available size options with corresponding pricing.
You also can see a more enlarged view of the image from this
page.
Image and print size are specified for your convenience.
In some cases the image size is estimated. The estimated dimensions
are to be used as a guide. For example, if the image size
is estimated as 81/2" x 11", the image will be 8
1/2" high and up to, but not exactly 11" wide, or
11" high and up to, but not exactly 8 1/2" wide.
The print sizes are accurate.
Most prints offered are available
in multiple sizes and the artists will often produce custom
sizes for buyers. Some artists will also work with you to
create original pieces within their style for a personal or
corporate collection. To obtain information and pricing to
purchase a custom size or to discuss a potential commission,
please call or email Artists' ShowCase - Online.
Request a Printed Sample:
Artists' ShowCase - Online will provide you with a physical sample
of an image you're considering for purchase, allowing you
to have a closer look to affirm your decision. Simply click
on the link at the bottom of the image detail page and complete
the pop-up email form.
These samples are not the same quality as the fine art prints.
Samples are printed with a high quality inkjet printer on
maximum 8 1/2" x 11" non-archival paper. Color saturation,
contrast and texture may vary. They serve as a step closer
to the final print than the computer screen - much like an
artist's sketch serves as a decision point for a commissioned
painting. Printed samples will ship out to you via regular
mail within the week. If a delay is anticipated, we will contact
you via e-mail.
E-mailing to a Friend:
As you browse through the images, you can share any of your
selections with friends. As you look at the full view of an
image, a link to e-mail to a friend appears at the bottom
of the page. This is an easy way to share exciting finds or
to collaborate on the decision making process. Or you can
just use this when you see an image you think someone else
would enjoy. You can include a short message, too.
Wish List:
The Wish List is a place for you to store a record of those
images that interest you. It's a great place to keep images
that catch your eye but you would like to contemplate a little
longer, or to build a personal collection. Interior designers
or art consultants can store potential selections for clients
here, too. This area records the item number, artist, title
and price of the images you select and is organized like your
shopping cart. It also calculates the accumulated cost of
the items within your wish list, excluding shipping and tax,
to assist with purchasing decisions.
To add an item to your wish list, simply click on the 'add
to wish list' link at the bottom of the page when viewing
an image. You can also go from the wish list back to the images
by clicking on the title of the piece. The Wish List can accommodate
unlimited images, and will store selections for up to three
months. To purchase an item, just move it from the Wish List
to your Shopping Cart by checking the 'Move to Cart' box at
the left of the entry. It's also easy to remove items from
the Wish List by checking the 'Delete Item' box at the left
of the entry.
You can start your wish list from any image page in the site.
To have your wish list saved, you need to set up an account
with Artists' ShowCase - Online. When you come back to the site
at a later date click on My Account to access your wish list.
